I am of parts,
Of bits and pieces;
Of love & hate
Of jealousy & rage
I am of sweetness,
and of grace.
I am of trepidation,
I am of sin & hateful words
I am of lust,
But mostly I am just-
in awe of all these words!
from one poet to another, i must be honest. i find these last three to be unpolished. they seem rusty and without effective conclusions. do u plan to make changes? please understand my two cents. they are both sincere and hopefully constructive.
Thank you Michael for you comment. I rarely make changes to my past work since i often find tapping into the same exact emotion that formulated the words of the poem to be impossible...hence it would lose its sincerity. I'd be more eager to just write another one.
